Soaking the seeds and nuts activates them and prepares them for digestion. Dehydrating not only maximises the nutritional value and the flavour . it also makes the crackers crunchy.

Ingredients
  1. Makes about 48 large crackers
  2. 11/2 cups almonds
  3. 1/4 cup brown flaxseed
  4. 1/4 cup ground golden flaxseeds
  5. 1 cup sunflower seeds
  6. 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  7. 1 cup carrot juice
  8. 1 cup carrot pulp
  9. 2tbls olive oil
  10. 2tbls lime juice
  11. 2 tsp Celtic or Himalayan Salt
  12. Herbs – 2tsp powdered coriander, 1 heaped tsp cumin, 1/2tsp ground ginger, 1/4tsp cayenne pepper, 1tsp fennel, 1/4tsp cardamon, 1/4tsp black pepper, 1/2tsp cinnamon, 1/4tsp garam masala
Instructions
  1. Soak all nuts and seeds for a minimum of 2 hours
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor until smooth
  3. Spread mixture thinly and evenly over 3 dehydrator teflex sheets
  4. Dry in a dehydrator on medium for approximately 4-6 hours then remove the teflex sheets and turn onto mesh sheeting - score crackers into desired shape.
  5. Return to the dehydrator until the crackers are crispy.- about another 6 hours
Notes
  1. These biscuits are great with raw hummus or your favourite dip. You can change spices according to personal taste.
